Rivolta In Francia
Noi Stiamo Con I Ribelli !
COMUNICATO DEL MOVIMENTO DI RESISTENZA MONDIALE DEI POPOLI
Nelle ultime 2
settimane una massiva rivolta è andata sconvolgendo la società Francese sino
alle sue fondamente. Questa ribellione delle minoranze giovanili principalmente
lavoratori è iniziata il 27 Ottobre nei quartieri suburbani di Parigi - Clichy sotto Bois- quando un gruppo di
giovani ritornava a casa dopo pranzo giocando a calcio quando sono stati
accostati da un mezzo carico di poliziotti –gli immigrati ed i giovani.
Fuggendo dall’assalto della polizia 3 di loro cercarono di nascondersi in una
sottostazione di generatore elettrico. Sebbene la polizia sapeva che i 3 erano
in pericolo mortale, attesero un’ora prima che il generatore venisse spento ed
i vigili del fuoco arrivassero a salvarli. Ma in quel frangente due di loro
morirono ed il terzo venne severamente ferito. Corse parola dei 2 giovani morti
e gruppi di altri giunsero divellendo binari e mettendo auto a fuoco e
lanciando pietre alla polizia. La notte seguente simili azioni ebbero luogo a
Clichy e nelle vicine periferie urbane.
Nel
giorno successivo il Ministro degli Interni Nicolas Sarkozy pubblicamente
chiamò i giovani delle cités (i progetti abitativi suburbani) gentaglia,
plebaglia o classe inferiorem feccia contro quelli contro i quali sempre
aveva promesso di “fare una guerra senza guanti bianchi” per buttarli fuori.
Queste rimarchevoli note da parte di un dirigente della linea dura reazionaria
dell’ufficiale di governo reazionario ufficiale furono prese dai giovani di
tutto il paese e da molti altri come una diretta sfida. Brevemente dopo che il
31 Ottobre la polizia sotto il suo comando sparò una granata di gas lacrimogeno
dentro una moschea affollata di devoti che stavano celebrando una importante
notte del Ramadan, il Moslem –mese sacro. Questo era troppo, ed invece di
spegnere la ribellione la spinse oltre, all’intero paese. Notte dopo notte
migliaia di auto, insieme a stazioni di polizia, uffici governativi, ed altri
simboli del sistema, vennero attaccati ed incendiati. Una intera generazione di
coloro che stanno nell’autentica base della società, quelli per i quali il
sistema non riserva alcun futuro – o addirittura una falsa promessa di un
futuro– ha fatto saltare la abituale maschera del business con una ribellione
radicale senza compromessi come non si vedeva da decenni.
Le autorità hanno cercato invano di trovare
qualche persona, organizzazione o forza che fosse “dietro le quinte”. Sarebbero
stati i “banditi”, i “fondamentalisti”, gli “spacciatori di droga”– chiunque o
qualsiasi cosa potesse essere considerabile. Ossia, ogni cosa o qualche cosa,
ma che storpiasse l’immagine della protesta (al di fuori della causa della
protesta): il loro sistema capitalista/imperialista. Migliaia di anni di
sfruttamento coloniale seguito da decenni di dominazione imperialista
neocolonialista hanno spinto questi giovani ed i loro familiari dai paesi
poveri del mondo alle metropoli europee. Quando loro possono cercare
lavoro, quello riservato loro è il peggio pagato, il più pericoloso e duro. In
Francia, almeno il 50% di questi giovani fanno parte di quelle decine di
milioni di persone provenienti da fuori dall’Europa, che sono stati emarginati
perché questo sistema non permette un lavoro adeguato per loro. Loro sono stati
gettati nei ghetti suburbani Francesi dove sono stati soggetti alla
discriminazione razzista, all’abuso poliziesco, all’esclusione dalle
opportunità educative e da innumerevoli forme di disprezzo e mancanza di
rispetto statale. Ora loro hanno detto BASTA!
Non
serve dilungarsi attorno ai propositi ed a riguardo delle “imperfezioni” della
loro ribellione. Questa è una rivolta spontanea di quelli che stanno veramente
al gradino più basso della società e che hanno
preso il loro posto nella storia anche se non hanno avuto la opportunità
di sviluppare pienamente la loro formazione politica, di istituire la loro
direzione politica e di definire un percorso strategico. Naturalmente loro
stanno facendo alcuni errori e stanno distruggendo le auto parcheggiate nelle
strade delle cités e non il vero nemico. Ma come un giovane ricordava,
“Noi bruciamo auto, signore; perché le auto sono quello che compriamo di più.”
E’ il loro modo –per ora- di mostrare a questo sistema ed a quelli che ci
stanno dentro che loro non intendono sopportare i padroni e nemmeno di farsi
zitti. Finora migliaia di poliziotti li colpiscono con i loro cannoni ad acqua,
proiettili di plastica e gas lacrimogeni, non sono stati capaci di spingerli al
silenzio. Qualsiasi cosa si sia sviluppata da qui ha trasformato già questa
ribellione in una azione di proporzioni storiche. Si è già dimostrato di fronte
a tutto il mondo quanto sia fragile la “pace sociale” oggi in Europa
Occidentale e, quando si liberano, quanto sono potenti le vulcaniche forze del
cambiamento che ne stanno alla base.

Noi chiamiamo ciascuono che sappia vedere l’ingiustizia e
l’inequità su cui l’attuale sistema e società sono stati costruiti; ognuno che
aspira ad un altro mondo, un mondo libero di ogni forma di sfruttamento ed
oppressione, ad unirsi al MRMP in questa cruciale congiuntura sotto lo slogan:

Young rebels – People around the world are watching you and
supporting you!
This is addressed to you, youth of the cities,
all of you whom Sarkozy
calls racaille, and to others in
France" as well, especially those
who are listening to you.
Some people say you are going "too
far." How far is "too far" in
responding to the state's top cop when he
announces his intention
to "netoyer au Karcher" a whole
section of the people?
This is addressed to you the children of
immigrant workers and lower
section of workers of all nationalities,
especially the people of the
cites whose fathers carried concrete sacks
to built the France we
know today and whose mothers tireless mops
and brooms kept this
country clean. This is addressed to you
who are called voyous no
matter what you do, whether working or
kept out of work, and either
way condemned to a life not much better than
that of your parents,
who endured so much hardship and
humiliation in the hope that you
would have it better.
We salute you who will never be content
with the best the system has
to offer you – like de Villepin's plan to
allow you to leave school
at 14 and work as "apprentices" – almost modern-day slaves – for
practically nothing in jobs no one else
wants, that would only
officialise what exists today, when
collège, for most kids, is not a
place for advancement but a place of
selection where 14-year-olds are
told their dreams are over? How far
is "too far" in demanding that
people be treated like human beings and
allowed to develop all that
they are capable of, individually and
collectively?
The truth is that France has seen far too
many years of "calm" in the
face of injustice and the kind of
"peace" that comes from the
oppressed accepting their fate. What's so
good about quietly
accepting the kind of life imposed on the
great majority of people in
France? The whole classe politique is
relaxed when youth fight one
another or take drugs and sink into
hopelessness. In this rebellionb
the youth have for the most part not
deliberately targeted ordinary
people in the cites or anywhere else.
Right now violence among the
people is at a low point and the spirit of
the youth is soaring.
Youth are in revolt – not mindlessly or
aimlessly, as official
society charges, but against a very clear
target, Sarkozy and the
state he represents, the police and
anything seen as representative
of the prevailing social order. You are
punching holes in a prison
wall, bringing the whole country fresh
air.
You deserve the support of all those who
are crushed by the system
and its republic, all those who tolerate
the life they are given only
because they see no alternative, and in
fact, people around the
world. This government has launched attack
after attack on many
sections of the people, including
immigrants, the unemployed,
strikers and many others. There has been
some opposition, but not
enough and not strong and bold enough. By
standing up against the way
things are and those who enforce this
order, the youth show their
potential as a revolutionary force in
society, together with all the
people who hate that order – all the
exploited, all those determined
to end the oppression of women, those who
truly hate the Iraq war and
other imperialist crimes in the world and
who really want to save the
earth from the profit system. You are
creating the conditions for a
different kind of thinking, where people
don't accept things as they
are, in France and the world, and a
different kind of social movement
than we have seen here in a long time.
People all over the world are
watching and finding encouragement for
their own struggles to
liberate themselves.
Not only Sarkozy, and not only the
government, but the whole state
and political class considers what the
youth are doing a "disaster"
and an intolerable challenge. They have
declared curfews in a few
places and imposed undeclared curfews
against men young and not so
young in whole towns and departments. It
is issuing all kinds of
threats against the people while hoping
that flash balls, CRS clubs
and the threat of mass deportations will
be enough to make the youth
lose heart. At the same time, they are
educating the youth and
everyone with eyes to see in a basic
truth: the French republic is,
in the end, a dictatorship that rests on
the clubs of the police and
ultimately, if necessary, the guns of the
army Those who own
everything run France, the big capitalist
class, have the final say
about everything, and in the end none of
the people have any rights
that can't be taken away.
To all of you others who share so much of
what these youth feel, the
working people of all nationalities and
people of all walks of life,
right now is the time to stand up for them
and stop the government's
attempts to encircle these kids with a
reactionary consensus and the
murderous actions this consensus speak for
the youth and the justice
of their cause – stop the government's
attempts to crush them.
Further, many millions of people in France
will not tolerate mass
deportations of people to punish them for
rebelling. The government
must not be allowed to carry through on
this threat. Finally, it
would good to "nettoyer au
Karcher" the people's anger, Sarkozy and
all he represents at this time.
